Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Your videos, photos and audio stay in your browser, and the export is rendered in the browser too. Nothing you import is uploaded.
How do I trim a video online?
Import your video, select the clip on the timeline and drag its start or end edge, or move the playhead and use Trim start or Trim end. Press S to split a clip at the playhead and Delete to remove the part you don't want.
What format and quality does it export?
MP4 (H.264 with AAC audio) in browsers that can record it, such as recent Chrome and Safari, otherwise WebM. The 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 sizes export in 1080p at 30 fps; a custom size exports at its own resolution, up to 4K worth of pixels. Export runs in real time, so keep the tab open until it finishes.
Will my project be saved if I close the tab?
Yes. The editor autosaves your project in this browser about a second after every change, and restores it the next time you open the editor on the same computer. Private windows can't keep it.
Can I use it on my phone?
The web editor is made for laptop and desktop screens. On a phone, use the free WotPan AI Android app, which also has auto captions, templates and AI tools.
